My name is Joe Nuvolini, and I live in Colorado Springs. I served in the US Air Force from 1957 to 1982, flying the following aircraft. I retired as a Lt Colonel, and after 26 more years as a tax preparer, I retired from the Income Tax Center on Bijou. I then kept busy writing product reviews for ComputorEdge Magazine and an occasional column in a computer user group newsletter, the P*PCompAS Bits of Bytes. For about 14 years in the 1980s and 1990s, I sang with a wonderful group called Flipside, from which I have since retired. For the better part of the 2000s, I sang with the show choir Vocal Fusion.

Let me introduce my family. I was married to the former Helen Sutton in 1963 but, tragically, we lost her in a traffic accident near Naples, Italy, in 1975. Our first born is Marie. She lives with her family in Oregon. Next is Joe III. He and his wife, Veronica, raised their family in Colorado Springs and now live in Iowa. Our youngest is Bobby, who also lives in Oregon.

Although my annual trips to Italy ended in 2018 after almost 30 years, I have great memories of the family and friends who accompanied me on these journeys. One such memory was from my trip in 2014.
